Set away from the road, making it perfect for a good night’s sleep, yet still close to all the action, as the pretty seaside town of Cromer is just 2 miles away. Here you will find a wide, sandy beach, a much photographed Edwardian seafront and pier, as well as and lots of places to eat, drink and shop. You can also enjoy a trip to Amazonia, a unique zoo featuring more than 200 South American animals. Travel east or west along the coast to find a string of coastal towns and villages offering sandy and shingle beaches, grassy dunes, marshes and quays. You will also find yourself close enough to enjoy a trip on the famous Norfolk Broads National Park, where you can hire a boat for the day or join a tour and just watch the world float by. With lots of National Trust sites such as the Blickling Hall Estate and a Norman castle, as well as numerous museums in Norwich, history buffs will be spoilt for choice. The Wash House is the perfect place to retreat back to after a busy day, perhaps to dream of adventures yet to come. Beach 2 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant ½ mile.
